Fact-Checking Policy
This fact checking policy explains the steps TBA Daily follows before a release date, platform or recommendation goes live, and how we keep it accurate afterwards.
What we check
- Release dates and platforms — confirmed only from the platform, producer or distributor’s own website, app or verified social accounts.
- Languages and dubbed versions — checked against the platform listing or the official announcement.
- Cast, crew and runtime — checked against official credits or the film’s certification details.
- Prices and plans — checked on the platform’s official website on the day of publishing.
Sources we accept
Official announcements first. Trade publications and news reports may be used as supporting information, but a date reported only by trade sources is labelled Expected, never Date confirmed. We do not use piracy websites, leaked listings or unverified social media posts as sources.
Before publishing
Every article is checked by a second member of the team for dates, platform names, spellings and links. Every title in a list must link to a legal platform or a theatrical release.
After publishing
Release information changes often. We re-check titles in our database whenever a platform announces a change, review watch lists at least every six months, and update the page as soon as something changes.
